I knew from my one other successful weight loss that my body needed to be alkaline in order to lose weight. (This is why low carb doesn’t work long term for me. Meat and most proteins are acidic.) The key was to eat carbs, just monitor when they were eaten!

So I eliminated wheat (I am allergic and should have done this years ago). My appetite went away! My calorie intake dropped and weight started slowly coming off.

No more junk food, processed foods, or fast food restaurants!

Thank goodness I’m retired now or I wouldn’t have time to do all of this cooking. But I am truly feeling better than I have in years.

I also did a detox under my acupuncturist’s supervision.
