When I’m feeling blue, I pop in a tape, laugh some and always feel better. I also keep a collection of jokes nearby. You just never know when you’ll need a good laugh.Try a Laughter Meditation. Your life could depend on it.

There is also a Laughter Meditation you can try. (It’s not really a meditation so don’t freak out on me.) Each morning as you wake up and stretch a little, begin to laugh. There doesn’t have to be a reason, just do it. Just laugh. Go for a couple of deep belly laughs. Try to keep it up for five minutes. You can do this when you go to bed at night, when you’re stuck in traffic, or anytime you feel stressed. Yes, people may think you’re crazy, but should you care? No. You will be feeling great and eventually you will be healthier.Research shows that a good belly laugh actually massages the internal organs. Laughter may also increase creativity. It’s a win-win situation.
