“You’re so much less than a person but you’re so much more than that as well because you are awareness itself. You are the light in which all of this is happening.”

He who knows that he is Spirit, becomes Spirit, becomes everything; neither gods nor men can prevent him …BRIHADARANYAKA UPANISHAD (7th c. B.C.)

The foolish reject what they see, not what they think; the wise reject what they think, not what they see … Observe things as they are and don’t pay attention to other people. HUANG-PO (9th C.)

Jean kept interrupting my story to the point I became exasperated. Why was I so upset? I apologized and blamed it all on poor memory, but it’s more than that. I finally realized that I was telling a story about the past. There is no past, no future, only now. So stop telling stories from the past. That’s a total wasted of ‘no-time’.

“However, the sighted are blessed with some travel aids that are denied to the rest. (This isn’t surprising; it’s not for nothing that the enlightened are called seers and not hearers or smellers or touchers-and certainly not thinkers. Sight is naturally the king of the senses here: when simultaneously directed inwards and outwards, it is the arch-enemy of the obscure, arch-revealer of the Obvious.)”

Looking inward and outward at the same time merges awareness of two, into one!
